Avinash Thakkar
CO-CHIEF PROGRAMMING OFFICER
Avinash is a senior from Baltimore, Maryland studying Economics and Philosophy. With experience facilitating programming for the organization the past couple of years, Avinash will help lead programming for larger-scale speaker events at SIAS. One of his key objectives is to organize events that represent a wide selection of issues in the international sphere. He believes that dialogue is most fruitful and effective when we have multiple diverse perspectives. He is keen on pursuing partnerships with similarly-interested organizations on and off campus in order to discuss ways in which our understanding of global affairs can be broadened to include different facets of societal, political, and economic analysis. Tesfa Madhin
CO-CHIEF PROGRAMMING OFFICER
Tesfa is a senior studying International Relations and Environmental Policy from Whittier, California. He will be serving as a Deputy Programming Officer this year and is excited to help plan and be a part of fun SIAS events throughout the year. He also will be helping to host the Stanford Model United Nations Conference this year as Co-Director of Programming. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, and studying history. Contact him at tmadhin@stanford.edu

Evan Ludington
DEPUTY PROGRAMMING OFFICER
Evan is a junior from San Diego studying History and Earth Systems. He will be a programming officer this year. He spent spring in summer in Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan studying abroad and working at a renewable energy policy think tank. On campus, you can find him giving tours at the Cantor Arts Center or playing trombone in the marching band. In his free time he loves to hike, cook, and listen to Civil War era music. He encourages everyone to try using silken tofu as a pasta sauce this year.

Nathaniel Fagelson
DEPUTY PROGRAMMING OFFICER
Nathaniel is a sophomore from Austin, Texas serving as a Deputy Programming Officer and the Undersecretary General of Specialized Committees for SMUNC XXVIII. At Stanford, he studies International Relations and Urban Studies, and he can usually be found at the David Rumsey Map Center. In his free time, he enjoys playing board games, baking, listening to podcasts, and watching baseball.

Katya Bigman
DEPUTY PROGRAMMING OFFICER
Katya is a sophomore from Houston, Texas majoring in International Relations. She is so excited to be part of the Society for International Affairs at Stanford Programming Team. Katya loves languages and plans to supplement her knowledge of Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian by studying French this year. Katya is supporting Ideas for Russia Labs, focusing on Russian political discourse, and is also involved with Stanford Women in National Security and Women in Finance. She enjoys tennis, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.
